Hyderabad: City pulmonologist Waghray honoured on Doctors’ Day

Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based pulmonologist Dr Pradyut Waghray has received the prestigious Times Now Inspiring Doctor Award at the 7th edition of the Times Now Doctors’ Day Conclave 2024 held in New Delhi recently. This was in recognition of Dr Waghray’s exceptional contributions to the field of respiratory medicine.
Dr Waghray, also an academician and researcher, was recognised for his commitment to medical excellence and pioneering work in the patient care and research. The event in New Delhi was held to celebrate the selfless dedication of India’s top medical minds, recognising pioneers who consistently refined the boundaries of medical excellence.
The Times Group, in collaboration with ET Edge, has organised this. The event included the launch of a commemorative coffee table book, “The Times Now – Legacy of Hippocrates of India 2024,” honouring Dr Waghray and others who have left an indelible mark on the healthcare landscape.
